<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate time display corresponding to summer time in a timing close to an actual switching timing as further as possible, while using offset time information included in a digital broadcast signal. <P>SOLUTION: A digital broadcast receiver includes: a receiver 101 for tuning to and receiving a digital broadcast signal; a signal separator 102 for separating time information from a received transport stream; an offset time extractor 105 for extracting offset time information from the time information; a display controller 109 for controlling time display; a time storage 107 for storing the offset time information; and a time comparator 106 which compares latest offset time information with the previous offset time information stored in the time storage and outputs a change signal when there is a change. When a change signal is output in any one of digital broadcast signals of a plurality of broadcast stations selectable for the receiver 101, the display controller 109 determines start or end of summer time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
