<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A/D converter for achieving A/D conversion with high bit precision without increasing a clock frequency or a reading time; and also to provide a solid-state image sensing device, and a camera system. <P>SOLUTION: A column processing circuit 150 includes: a first comparator 152-1 that compares an input signal VSL, with a first reference signal Vslop 1 which is a ramp wave, and that when the input signal matches the first reference signal, reverses an output signal thereof; a second comparator 152-2 that compares the input signal VSL, with a second reference signal Vslop 2 which is a ramp wave having a different polarity from the first reference signal, and that when the input signal matches the second reference signal, reverses an output signal thereof; and a counter 153 capable of counting up so as to measure the comparison times taken by the first comparator 152-1 and the second comparator 152-2, wherein when either of the output signal of the first comparator 152-1 and the output signal of the second comparator 152-2 is first reversed, the counter ceases a counting action. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
