PIXEL AND ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel capable of displaying a video of homogeneous luminance irrespective of a threshold voltage of a driving transistor.

SOLUTION: The pixel includes: an organic light emitting diode of which cathode electrode is connected to a second power supply; a first transistor for controlling an amount of the current that flows through the second power supply; a second transistor that is turned on when a scanning signal is supplied to the i-th scanning line (i being a natural number); a third transistor that is turned on when a scanning signal is supplied to the (i+1)-th scanning line; a fourth transistor that is turned on when the scanning signal is supplied to the i-th scanning line; a fifth transistor that is turned on when a control signal is supplied to a control line; a first capacitor that is connected between a common node of the second transistor and the third transistor, and an anode electrode of the organic light emitting diode; and a second capacitor that is connected between the common node and a gate electrode of the first transistor.
