PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide molybdenum alloy whose strength is more than that of the conventional product, in which coarsening of crystal grains is suppressed, and deterioration of the strength is prevented even in use at temperature of 1,500°C or higher, at which coarsening of the crystal grains of molybdenum starts. SOLUTION: The molybdenum alloy is constituted by mixing carbide of Ti, Zr, Hf, boride, nitride, oxide, or/and at least one of added powder of V, Nb, Ta, Cr, and W in molybdenum powder to be a matrix by 0.1-20 mass%, and then is solidified and formed.
