PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent sealant for an organic EL element excellent in flexibility, capable of fully sealing organic light-emitting elements, and restraining dark spots in case of making an organic EL display panel, and excellent in visibility of images. SOLUTION: The transparent sealant is made of a flexible polymer composition containing hydride of a dienic block copolymer having in its molecule one or more polymer blocks (I) with a mass ratio (a1)/(a2) of conjugated diene compound unit (a1) to an aromatic vinyl compound unit (a2) of 100-50/0-50 and with a vinyl bond content of 60 to 95%, with a ratio of metal contained in the flexible polymer compound of 30 ppm or less, for each kind of metal.
