PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file transfer audit system that identifies a person who has transferred a file to a removable medium by a terminal even when the terminal is shared among a plurality of persons. SOLUTION: In the file transfer audit system, an audit server 2 that audits transfer of a file is connected to operation terminals 3a and 3a to be used by users for file operations, communicably with the operation terminals. The audit server 2 includes: a means for retrieving a removable medium distribution list DB 1 on the basis of a device instance ID when receiving the device instance ID of a removable medium 4a in order to audit the transfer record, and identifying a user who uses the removable medium 4a; a means for searching a transfer record DB 6 on the basis of the device instance ID to identify a file 5a transferred by the removable medium 4a of the device instance ID; and the like.
