PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple device for confirming the position of a child which can confirm where the child is. SOLUTION: The device for confirming the position of a child is composed of a number of checking holders 3A and location displays 2. The checking holders 3A are fixed to the walls in multiple buildings, and have covers 5 with recesses on their surfaces and contours, and first characters formed in recessed receiving portions of the cover. The location displays 2 have bases fitting to the recesses of the covers, hooks 8a for the bags 8, marks projecting from the surface of the bases, and a second character section matching the first character section on the surface of the marks. The checking holders 3A and location displays 2 are magnetizable. When moving, they move while being attached to the shoulder strap 8a of a bag 8 from the checking holder 3A in a building A and are magnetically attached to the checking holder in another building.
