PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic wire connection device for an electric meter capable of efficiently performing a performance test without generating a scratch on a meter body of the electric meter. SOLUTION: The automatic wire connection device 100 for the electric meter includes: a device body 10; a movable body 30 which is slidably provided to the device body 10 and to which the electric meter 50 is mounted; and a current terminal contact parts 12a to 12d provided to the device body 10 to come in contact with current terminals 52a to 52d of the electric meter 50. Pins (pressing bodies) 36a to 36d pressing mounting screws 56a to 56d of the electric meter 50 to the current terminal contact parts 12a to 12d side are provided at the outer end part of the movable body 30. When the movable body 30 moves and the current terminals 52a to 52d of the electric meter 50 abut against abutment parts 16a to 16d of the current terminal contact parts 12a to 12d, the mounting screws 56a to 56d are pressed by the pins (pressing bodies) 36a to 36d and enter the inside of recessed parts 17a to 17d of the current terminal contact parts 12a to 12d.
