PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid detergent composition includingα-sulfofatty acid alkyl ester salt-containing particles with improved appearance. SOLUTION: The solid detergent composition contains 1-90 mass% ofα-sulfofatty acid alkyl ester salt-containing particles including (a) 60 mass% or more ofα-sulfofatty acid alkyl ester salt and (b) a dye and/or a fluorescent brightener.
