PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer method for pad printing, capable of enhancing separability of a pad from a transfer face on a matter to be printed, so as to obtain a satisfactory print state, and a transfer device for a pad printing machine used when executing the transfer method for the pad printing. SOLUTION: An ultraviolet ray is passed through from an inner face side of a cavity in an inside of the pad 5 to a pad outer face 6a, during the time until an ultraviolet ray curable transfer object 11 is pressed onto the matter 3 to be printed, after the ultraviolet ray curable transfer object 11 is attached onto the pad outer face 6a, when executing the pad printing by pressing the ultraviolet ray curable transfer object 11 deposited on the outer face 6a of the pad 5, onto the matter 3 to be printed.
