PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and securely turn on or off a power supply, and to permit the control to suppress consumption of a built-in battery. SOLUTION: The in-vivo observation system 1 includes an in-vivo observation device 2 and a magnetic field generating part 3 disposed out of the in-vivo observation device 2 to generate the magnetic field. The in-vivo observation device 2 includes in-vivo information acquisition parts 4-6, the power supply 17, a magnetic field detecting part 8 for detecting the magnetic field from outside and outputting the result of detection as an electric signal, and a power feeding part 7 for controlling the state of feeding of drive power to be fed to the in-vivo information acquisition parts based on the electric signal. The magnetic field detecting part 8 includes a magnetic field detecting coil 11 for detecting the magnetic field from outside generated by the magnetic field generating part 3, and an amplifying circuit 12 for amplifying a signal corresponding to the generated magnetic field and outputting the amplified signal as the electric signal to the magnetic field detecting coil 11.
