PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for measuring the state of mandibular movements of a human for performing the measurement simply and quickly at a low cost. SOLUTION: The measurement method and the measurement device for measuring the state of mandibular movements acquire displacement data of condyles of right and left mandibular joints in the chronological order by simultaneously detecting the displacement of the condyles of the right and left mandibular joints from external auditory canals of both ears. As a result, an index for quantitatively evaluating the state of the mandibular movements is given from the amount of the displacement of the condyles of the right and left mandibular joints.
