PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricative insulated wire excellent in both of surface slide nature and sticking tendency with varnish even through reduction of lubricative components such as wax contained in an outermost layer of a lubricative insulated wire insulating layer, and also to provide a motor with excellent reliability of insulation characteristics and with excellent sticking tendency of the insulated wire and varnish. SOLUTION: The lubricative insulated wire is made by application of a lubricant to the insulated wire made up of a conductor and the insulating layer covering the conductor. The outermost layer of the insulating layer contains at least one of resin selected from a group consisting of polyamide imide, polyester imide, polyimide, polyamide, polyester and polyurethane, with a static friction coefficient of the lubricant-applied insulated wire of 0.10 or less, and a dynamic friction coefficient of the same of 0.10 or less and a static friction coefficient of the insulated wire before application of the lubricant of 0.12 or more and a dynamic friction coefficient of the same of 0.11 or more.
