The present invention provides a cooling manifold and a production method therefor. The cooling manifold has a housing comprising a spiral flow pathway running along the cooling manifold. The housing has a plurality of first grooves extending from a first surface into the housing. The grooves are not continuous with the interior of the housing. The first grooves are of a structure whereby they are adapted to receive a portion of a thermally conductive member such that heat energy is transferred from the thermally conductive member to the housing. The cooling manifold comprises an upper cap adapted to hermetically seal a first-end portion of the housing, and a lower cap adapted to hermetically seal a second-end portion of the housing. |
