PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transceiving common public radio interface in a broadband wireless communication system are provided to transmit stuffing data including control information and synchronization information. CONSTITUTION: A matching device(112) changes data rate of 1PPS(Pulse Per Second) signal received from the baseband data and GPS(Global Positioning System). A mapping device(114) maps the transformed baseband data as described above to the CPRI mapping method. The mapping device constitutes the CPRI frame. An interface device(120) transmits the constituted CPRI frame synchronized to the synchronization signal.
