<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blue-colored composition for a color filter for forming the color filter by which high luminosity and a wide color reproducing region are made possible in a color display using an organic EL light source, to provide the color filter using this, and to provide the color display including the color filter. <P>SOLUTION: In the blue-colored composition for the color filter including a pigment dispersion, including a coloring agent, a transparent resin and a solvent, at least a dioxazine pigment and triarylmethane based dye are used as the coloring agent. The blue-colored composition for the color filter is formed by using transparent resin and, if necessary, a monomer, a photopolymerization initiator, other additives, a solvent, and the like. A blue filter segment is formed on a filter substrate, by using the obtained blue colored composition by a printing method, an inkjet method, a photolithographic method, and the like.
