<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the adhesion of mold release wax, which is vaporized when heating a toner image, to components excluding a fixing device in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The mold release wax which is vaporized when thermally fixing the toner image to a recording material is collected by a collection member, which is provided between a fixing nip portion forming member and the frame of the fixing device, and which is kept at a temperature between the melting point and sublimation point of the mold release wax. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
