<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing blurring of thin lines regardless of the secular change or environmental changes of a developing device, and capable of always obtaining the superior printed results. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an image bearing body that is rotatably supported; an exposing means that exposes the image bearing body to form an electrostatic latent image on the image bearing body; a developer bearing body that makes developer adhere to the electrostatic latent image to form a developer image; a transfer means that transfers the developer image to a recording medium; a feeding means that feeds the recording medium to a transfer-feasible position by the transfer means; a density detection means that detects a developer density of the developer image transferred to the recording medium; and a speed difference controller that controls a difference of a rotational speed of the image bearing body and a feeding speed of the recording medium fed by the feeding means. The speed difference controller decides the speed difference based on the detected results of a thin line pattern formed on the recording medium detected by the density detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
