<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine which suppresses the variations in cooling a superconducting coil and attain full cooling. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary machine with a superconducting coil 111 disposed within a slot 130 includes a container 131, a superconducting coil 111 and a support 132. The container 131 is disposed within the slot 130. The superconducting coil 111 is disposed within the container 131. The support 132 supports the superconducting coil 111.
