<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration of an intermediate transfer body with lapse of time in an intermediate transfer device. <P>SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer device (BM) includes: a first movement control means (C4D) that moves a first moving member (R1) to a first position when first image holding bodies (Pg and Po) are used, and moves the first moving member (R1) to a second position when they are not used; a third movement control means (C4F) that moves a third moving member (R4) to the first position when second image holding bodies (Py to Pk) are used, and moves the third moving member (R4) to the second position when they are not used; and a second movement control means (C4E) that moves a second moving member (R3) to the first position when the first image holding bodies (Pg and Po) or the second image holding bodies (Py to Pk) are used, and moves the second moving member (R3) to the second position when they are not used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
