PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of preventing particles from infiltrating into it from outside. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal display panel for displaying images; a lamp 2710 for supplying light to the liquid crystal display panel; a mold frame 2800 for accommodating the liquid crystal display panel and the lamp; and a top chassis 2900 for fixing the liquid crystal display panel to the mold frame by connecting to the mold frame. The mold frame includes a protruded part 2801 that is opposite to the sidewall of the top chassis and projected outward to be mounted on the sidewall of the top chassis. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
