PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, capable of preventing toner from adhering to an electrode and deciding a voltage value to be applied on a toner rearrangement electrode, after deciding on the range of the voltage value to be applied for obtaining satisfactory effect of toner rearrangement. SOLUTION: This image forming device 10 includes the toner rearrangement electrode 16Y for rearranging toner for toner image, by applying electric field to the toner image developed in a photosensitive member 11Y; an IDC sensor 17Y for detecting amount of toner for toner image; and a control part 42 for calculating the amount of toner adhered to the toner rearrangement electrode 16Y, or the distribution of density of the toner image developed in the photosensitive member 11Y and controlling AC component of voltage to be applied on the toner rearrangement electrode 16Y, based on the calculated amount of toner or distribution of density. The control part 42 decides on the upper limit value of AC component of voltage to be applied, based on the amount of toner and decides the lower limit value of AC component of voltage to be applied, based on the distribution of density to control the AC component in a range below the decided upper limit value, or above the decided lower limit value.
