PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing erroneous assembly and improving balance during rotation in an oldham coupling. SOLUTION: The oldham coupling includes a socket 4, an insertion part 5, and an intermediate insert 6. The intermediate insert 6 is fitted in a recess 41 of the socket 4, and two locking projections 61 arranged at a circumference interval of 180°on the circumference of the intermediate insert 6 are fitted in two notches 43 arranged at a circumference interval of 180°on the outer circumference part 42 of the recess 41. The insertion part 5 is inserted into the rectangular hole 63 of the intermediate insert 6. The socket 4 has two cutouts 44, which are formed by cutting the regions located at a circumference interval of 90°from the notches 43 so that their width on the circumference is wider than that of the notches 43. The intermediate insert 6 has two non-locking projections 62 fitted to the cutouts 44 of the socket 4. The non-locking projections 62, which are formed at a circumference interval of 90°from the locking projections 61, have mass equal to that of the locking projections 61, and the width on the circumference of the non-locking projections 62 is wider than that of the notches 43 and narrower than that of the cutouts 44.
