PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device for an engine capable of suppressing a valve opening of a pressure limiter during the deceleration of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The fuel injection control device for the engine 100 includes a fuel pump 53 for supplying fuel to a common rail 52 according to an engine operation state, and a fuel injection valve 51 for injecting fuel stored in the common rail 52 into a combustion chamber 13. The fuel injection control device further includes the pressure limiter 52A provided at the common rail 52 for performing the valve opening when rail pressure exceeds limit set pressure, a rail pressure determination means S102 for determining whether or not the rail pressure before a deceleration start is higher than the prescribed pressure at the deceleration start, and a fuel injection control means S105 for controlling a fuel injection amount during deceleration injected from the fuel injection valve 51 based on the rail pressure before the deceleration start so that the valve opening of the pressure limiter 52A is not performed during the deceleration when the rail pressure before the deceleration start is higher than the prescribed pressure.
