OIL PATH STRUCTURE FOR CHAIN-DRIVEN OIL PUMP

An oil path structure for a chain-driven oil pump has, as oil paths for feeding oil from a center support to a torque converter, three systems of oil paths which are a first oil path for feeding the oil to the torque converter through the inside of an input shaft of the torque converter, a second oil path for feeding the oil to the torque converter through a space formed between the outer peripheral surface of the input shaft and the inner peripheral surface of a stator shaft, and a third oil path for feeding the oil to the torque converter while making the oil bypass a drive sprocket.  The third oil path is formed at a position which is on the outer peripheral side of the drive sprocket and at a position at which the third oil path does not interfere with start-up of a chain.  Consequently, flex lockup can be fully utilized, and the diameter of the sprocket is reduced.
