<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile type digital broadcast receiver for easily restoring the last channel even during channel search, and quickly and accurately implementing the channel search in simple configuration, and to provide a channel search method. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile type digital broadcast receiver includes: a channel selecting section for selecting a physical channel designated; a receiving level measuring section for measuring a field strength of the selected physical channel; a storage section for storing the last channel, relay station information, and a channel search list; a search list creating section for creating the channel search list; and a search processing section for carrying out channel search processing on the basis of the channel search list. On the basis of the last channel and the relay station information, the search list creating section creates the channel search list obtained by inserting the last channels into the relay station information at arbitrary intervals, and outputs the channel search list to the storage section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
