<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a flat cable capable of reducing the number of components, miniaturizing an outer dimension, and also simplifying a connection process of the flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: For a relay housing 11 of the connector for the flat cable, an end of the flat cable 100 with a conductor exposed part 107 with a plurality of conductors 105 exposed is arranged at one end, and terminals 109 mounted on counterpart conductors fitted to counterpart cables 101 are inserted from the other end side and held so as to be enabled to contact each of the plurality of conductors 105 at the conductor exposed part 107.
