摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reduce an electric power consumption when executing the whole program group, while minimizing degradation of processing performance of a system, in an information processing system for executing a plurality of programs in juxtaposition or in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power control device includes an electric power context storage means for storing electric power control information of every program in a storage area classified by identification information of the program, an electric power context reference means for referring to the electric power control information about the desired program from the electric power context storage means, and an electric power state changing means for changing a state of electric power consumed in an inside of an information processor, based on the electric power control information referred by the electric power context reference means, the electric power control information includes a success rate or a failure rate of electric power allocation in the past, and the electric power context reference means includes a speculative electric power state change decision means for determining the propriety of changing the electric power state when executing the corresponding program, based on the success rate or the failure rate of the electric power control information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
