PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector where a desired channel for guiding air discharged from a cooling fan to a cooling object is formed, and also an image projection device is excellently fixed in a housing case. SOLUTION: The projector 1 includes a cooling device 9 which sends the air to the cooling object. The cooling device 9 includes the cooling fans 93 and 94 sucking and discharging the air, and an air duct 95 having the channel for guiding the air discharged from the cooling fans 93 and 94 to the cooling object. The air duct 95 includes a first duct 71 formed in the housing case 10 and hollowed in a dent state toward the inside from an outer surface of the housing case 10, and a second duct 95A attached to the outer surface of the housing case 10 and combined with the first duct 71 to form the channel for guiding the air discharged from the cooling fans 93 and 94 to the cooling object.
