PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing poor-transfer and outputting a stable image. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a photoreceptor drum, carrying a toner image; a belt body, for transferring the toner image on the photoreceptor drum to a transfer material; a first roller, stretching the belt body; a second roller 2, stretching the belt body, and also, capable of changing the position thereof to the first roller; a transfer roller, sandwiching the belt body 300 together with the photoreceptor drum, and applying a pressurizing force for transfer; and a pressurizing force correcting means, changing the position of the transfer roller 121K associated with the positional change of the second roller 2 to correct the pressurizing force of the transfer roller 121K.
