PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel bonding method which enables improving productivity by shortening tact time. SOLUTION: In the panel bonding method in which a sealing agent is hardened by irradiating a workpiece with non-hardened sealing agent held between panels with light, a first linear light source 10 extends in an X-direction and is movable in a Y-direction, and a second linear light source 20 extends in the Y-direction and is movable in the X-direction, and both are arranged differently in height to the workpiece and in a state where both can be independently moved. The first linear light source 10 and the second linear light source 20 are arranged at the position corresponding to the sealing agent, and the workiece W is irradiated with light from the first linear light source 10 and the second linear light source 20. Of the first linear light source 10 and the second linear light source 20, the linear light source which is closer to the workpiece W is moved, a point light source of the linear light source which is further from the workpiece W in a position where the first linear light source 10 and the second linear light source 20 cross when irradiated wth light, is turned on to irradiate the workpiece W with light.
