METHOD FOR DEPOSITING AT LEAST ONE STRIP OF SILICONE BANDS ON THE BACK OF A SELF-ATTACHING TEXTILE SUBSTRATE

The method comprises the following phases: positioning a textile substrate (1) on a mandrel (2) so that the reception portion of the layer(s) of silicone bands is well extended; collecting a sleeve (7) in order to provide the same to a station for dispensing at least one layer of a silicone band on the peripheral outline of the sleeve; inserting said glued sleeve into said mandrel, the length of the mandrel corresponding to the length of the sleeve; vertically lifting the mandrel relative to the glued sleeve while transferring the textile substrate onto the glued sleeve, and bonding the textile substrate onto the glued sleeve; moving the mandrel back to the initial position thereof; transferring the glued sleeve with the textile substrate towards a heating station; outputting the sleeve and the textile substrate after the polymerisation of the silicone band; discharging and separating the textile substrate with the layer(s) of silicone bands from the sleeve.
