Double-sided adhesive tape is reliably adhered to a curved tape adhesion surface of a workpiece without peeling of a top-surface separator while this separator remains in place. That is to say, cuts are formed by a rotary cutter at prescribed intervals along the side edges of the separator on the double-sided adhesive tape which is fed to a tape adhesion position with the lower-surface side separator being peeled away and the top-surface side separator remaining in place. The double-sided adhesive tape having the cuts formed in the separator is conducted to the tape adhesion position at the tip end of a device, and is continuously adhered to the surface of the workpiece by pressure from adhesion rollers.
