PURPOSE: A light emitting diode is provided to be protected from water or gas by forming a protective layer, which is composed of parylene and covers at least one of a substrate, a light emitting chip, and an electrode part. CONSTITUTION: Parylene covers at least one of a substrate(20), a light emitting chip(30), and an electrode part(60). A plurality of light emitting chips in a bar shape is mounted in a light emitting display unit. A plurality of light emitting display units is connected using a daisy-chain mode. The electrode part is composed as an integrated type or a separated type. If the electrode part is composed as the separated type, a parylene based protective layer covers the entire surface of a connecting part connected with the electrode part.
