<p>The system has a track formed of sections (11) placed end-to-end, where each section comprises conductors (51-53) taking part in generation of a magnetic field. A primary power supply circuit generates alternating current electric signals for exciting the conductors. A miniature vehicle i.e. car (2), comprises horizontal and vertical windings (21h, 21v) to capture the magnetic field generated by the track. A secondary electronic circuit receives respective amplitudes measured across the windings, and is programmed to determine a lateral position of the vehicle on the track.</p> |
