PURPOSE: An electromagnetic wave absorber with the flexibility and the elasticity is provided to improve electromagnetic wave shielding effect by forming a metal layer on the external surface of a protective material. CONSTITUTION: A tube shaped elastic rubber(10) includes an electromagnetic wave absorbing property. An elastic rubber adhesive(20) surrounds the external surface of the elastic rubber. The elastic rubber adhesive is stacked on the elastic rubber. A protective material is flexible to be capable of covering the external surface of the adhesive. The protective material contains either of a polymer film(30) or polymer fabric.
