<p>Disclosed is a method for transferring content between connected devices eg a media players, via user interfaces. The method starts by creating a user interface between a first device and second device. Via the user interface, the user selects content to be transferred to a third device. Next, a second user interface is created between the second device and the third device, which is used to transfer the content to the third device. State information is provided to the user via one of the user interfaces. The state information may shown as icons displayed in the graphical user interfaces on the devices indicating which other devices are connected to a device and which are active, or the state information may be shown by extending the boundary of the graphical user interfaces to cover other device icons. The devices may be wireless devices, eg the second device is a mobile phone or smart phone.</p> |
