PURPOSE: A terraced filtering device for an embankment is provided to naturally purify and discharge contaminated fluid and to reduce maintenance costs and to easily replace a purification member. CONSTITUTION: A terraced filtering device for an embankment comprises purification tanks(10), partitions(20), purification blocks, and aeration units. The purification tanks are installed in a terraced shape. The partitions are separated from the bottom of the purification tanks and divide inner spaces of the purification tanks. The purification blocks are formed in the inner spaces of the purification tanks and filter contaminated fluid. The aeration units discharge the fluid through multiple through holes.
