MULTICASTING AND BROADCASTING SERVICE TRANSMISSION METHOD FOR REDUCING ELECTRICAL ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF A TERMINAL IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: A multicasting and broadcasting service transmission method in a mobile communications system is provided to easily receive MBS(Multicast and Broadcast Service) packet. CONSTITUTION: An MBS defines the scheduling change time interval so that the terminal does not need to receive an MBS MAP. The information of the packet which the terminal tries to receive the MBS MAP in the past does not change during the corresponding time, the terminal receives the corresponding MBS packet although the MBS MAP is not received for the scheduling change time interval. The scheduling change time interval can be dissimilar according to the service species.
