PURPOSE: A dielectric material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to control the orientation of a plasticized body and the volatilization of Zn, by the low sintering temperature and the uniform mixture of initial raw materials. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric material has the sintering temperature of 1,400~1,650 deg C by the composition of Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3-ZrO2, through adding ZrO2 to Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3. A manufacturing method of the dielectric material comprises the following steps: preparing raw material powder of BaCO3, ZnO, Ta2O5, and ZrO2; melting the BaCO3 and the ZnO to a solvent containing 1~60wt% of citric acid, and wet-mixing the Ta2O5 and the ZrO2(S100); drying the mixture to volatilize the solvent, and calcinating to for first powder(S220,S300); crushing and drying the first powder, and forming second powder using a filter(S310); press-molding the second powder to form a molded body(S400); and sintering the molded body in 1,400~1,650 deg C(S500).
