<p>PURPOSE: A multidirectional expansion cursor and a method for forming a multidirectional expansion cursor are provided to accurately and promptly select a desirable object by placing a cursor near a certain object on a screen having a limited size. CONSTITUTION: A multidirectional expansion cursor is provided with a plurality of selection keys displayed on a display screen and movable according to the input control of a user, the selection keys are displayed on the display screen to correspond to one or more objects selectable on the display screen. When one of the selection keys corresponding to an intended object from among the one or more objects is selected through the input control of a user, the intended object is executed. The method for forming the multidirectional expansion cursor comprises the steps of: generating an expansion cursor divided into a plurality of selection keys displayed on the display screen and moved according to the input control of a user; matching the selection keys to one or more objects selectable on the display screen in order to display on the display screen(S10); and selecting a selection key that corresponds to an intended object from among the one or more objects in order to execute the object(S20-S30).</p> |
