<p>The failure recognition unit has multiple parallel branches each comprising an illuminant connected in series. A potential target value of the branches is preset on the basis of an operating voltage or a voltage drop of each illuminant, with which the recorded potentials of the branches are compared. An additional power supply or a reference voltage directly dependent on the power supply is used for comparison under notice of the voltage drop of the monitored illuminant and the supply voltage.</p> |
