An electrical connection system of furniture drive units in furniture pieces (2, 3) that are disposed at an angle relative to one another, comprising at least one furniture section (4, 5), respectively, which is moveable relative to the furniture piece (2, 3) and can be driven by a furniture drive unit (24, 25), wherein the connection system comprises an electrical distributor (6, 7) for each of the furniture pieces (2, 3), said distributor being electrically coupled to the at least one furniture drive unit (24, 25) at the furniture piece (2, 3), wherein at least the electrical distributor (6, 7) of adjacent furniture pieces (2, 3) are electrically coupled for mutual transferring of control signals and that each of the electrical distributors (6, 7) comprises an electronic control unit (15) for controlling the furniture drive systems (24, 25), said control unit being designed such that furniture drive units (24, 25) that cause furniture sections (4, 5) with clashing ranges of motion to move are prevented from being activated simultaneously. Moreover, a corner piece and a method for blocking furniture drive units (24, 25) are described. |
