<p>First and second images are obtained by continuous shooting. Overall-image shake between the first and second images is detected and shake is corrected. If the image of an automobile, for example, contained in the first and second images is moving from capture of the first image to capture of the second image, the image of the automobile is moved in the second image so as to coincide with the image of the automobile in the first image. The image of the automobile in the first image and the image obtained by moving the image of the automobile are superimposed. Two image frames can be superimposed in accordance with portions in which there is movement of a subject and portions in which there is no movement of the subject but in which blur has occurred owing to camera shake.</p> |
