<p>The device an oscillator (6) providing a frequency signal with a preset frequency. A coupling element (7) couples the frequency signal to a control line (8) through which a direct current motor (3) is supplied with electricity. A measuring element detects information about voltage standing-wave ratio of a signal wave of the coupled frequency signal running from the oscillator to the motor. A signal wave of the frequency signal is reflected at the motor to provide information about standing-wave ratio, where the reflected frequency signal runs from the motor to the oscillator. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining absolute angular position of a direct current-operated electric motor.</p> |
