PURPOSE: An auxiliary power supply and user devices including the same are provided to effectively respond to a sudden power-off operation by additionally installing a discharging circuit. CONSTITUTION: A super capacitor(111) supplies auxiliary power to a user device(100) using retention electric charges. A power detector(112) detects the power level of a main power supply. A storing unit(120) generates a second signal(CTRL2) for performing a sudden power-off operation. A switch(115) responds to the second signal and is turned-on. An electric current limiter(113) is connected between the super capacitor and a first power line(PL1). The electric current limiter limits excessive currents or voltages toward the super capacitor.
