PURPOSE: A valve for controlling the capacity of a variable capacity compressor is provided to reduce the whole length since one or more of a suction-chamber connecting hole, a crank-chamber connecting hole, and a discharge-chamber connecting hole are formed to slope with respect to a plane perpendicular to the moving direction of a valve body. CONSTITUTION: A valve(100) for controlling the capacity of a variable capacity compressor comprises a valve housing(110), a valve body(120), a solenoid(130), and a sleeve member. The valve housing comprises a crank-chamber connecting hole(112), a discharge-chamber connecting hole(113) and a first guide hole(117), which crosses the discharge-chamber connecting hole and the crank-chamber connecting hole. The valve body reciprocates, opens and closes the entrance of the first guide hole and is composed of a large diameter part(122) and a small diameter part(123). The solenoid makes the valve body reciprocate. The sleeve member comprises a sleeve(140) with a diameter larger than that of the small diameter part and connects the small diameter part of the valve body and the solenoid. One or more of the suction-chamber connecting hole, the crank-chamber connecting hole and the discharge-chamber connecting hole are formed to slope with respect to a plane perpendicular to the moving direction of the valve body.
