MANUFACTURING METHOD OF POLYPROPYLENE WITH SILICA AEROGEL POWDER AS FILLER AND POLYPROPYLENE PRODUCT

PURPOSE: A producing method of polypropylene, and a polypropylene product manufactured therefrom are provided to secure an excellent thermal insulation property, low density, and the soundproof properties of an aerogel and to uniformly disperse aerogel particles. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of polypropylene mixed with silica aerogel powder as a filler comprises a step of mixing 20~50 parts of silica aerogel powder by weight with 100 parts of polypropylene resin by weight. The polypropylene additionally includes 1 part of maleic anhydride by weight as a compatibilizing agent. The silica aerogel powder has a thermal conductivity of 5~30mW/mk and a density of 0.5~0.3g/cm^3.
