PURPOSE: A liquid crystal medium is provided to set the low pretilt angle, and to secure the extremely high specific resistance value and the high voltage holding ratio value. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal medium including more than one compound marked with chemical formula I, is applied to a liquid crystal display of either a polymer stabilization type, or a queue continuing polymer type. In the chemical formula I, R1 and R2 are alkyl with 1~12 carbons, respectively. A1, A2, A3, and A4 are functional groups marked with either chemical formula I-a or I-b. |
