RIBLET TYPE BRIDGE PIERS STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A corrugated pier structure is provided to prevent a bridge from collapsing by using a corrugated ring and to remarkably reduce sectional scouring. CONSTITUTION: A corrugated pier structure is composed as follows. A circular pier(20) is installed in the bottom of a river. A part of the circular pier is submerged in the river in order to support a bridge(10). Corrugated rings(30) are made of plastic, rubber or stainless steel and are arranged in the submerged circular pier in multiple rows.
